Salix var 'Daves Green'

The information provided for each willow variety is based on my observations growing and using the willows here at Lakeshore Willows.
I coppice the willow annually, therefore information about growth habit is quoted from Christopher Newsholme's book: Willows, The Genus Salix.

Salix var 'Daves Green' is a fast growing, large willow. One year growth up to more than 10'  with beautiful straight rods. Bark is light green when fresh and dries to an almost black.
Suitable for large living projects such as play huts, tunnels etc. Dried it is great for woven fences and bentwood chairs - preferably using 2-3 year old rods.
