There are a few tools that you need when working with willow for basketry.
These are the basic ones that you use all the time and in addition to that there are some more specialized tools that you use less frequently, but are nice to have if you make a lot of baskets.

Good, sharp bypass pruners and a wood working knife. Can be purchased at Lee Valley or other similar store.

A large awl or bodkin.
The nice ones with the wooden handle I purchased in Denmark. The yellow one has almost the same size and I have those for sale at $ 20.00

A rapping iron is used for stake and strand type baskets and I had a few made up by a local iron worker. I sell them for $ 35.00
