A willow purse woven using a technique taught by Danish Ane Lyngsgaard.

Frances Red is the name of the willow variety used and it has a beautiful dark grey colour with a bit of purplish or black. The natural willow is grown here at Lakeshore Willows.

Lene cut the leather shoulder strap and closure pieces from a double shoulder of veg tanned leather, dyed the pieces and attached using waxed linen thread.
