Burkina weave workshop
One-day workshop working with fine willow.

This technique is used in many regions around the globe for weaving using many different flexible natural materials incl. grasses. I was taught this technique by Danish Eva Seidenfaden who introduced it to willow.

Typically you will make a couple of small containers suitable for keeping your garlic, dried hot peppers etc during the class as pictured to the right.
The bowl in the above picture is made on a base of fine wood and would probably require more than one day for your first experience with this technique.

Class fee $ 72.50 + materials $ 40 + HST
Class fee is payable upon registration and a paypal invoice will be forwarded to you for your convenience.
If you need to cancel, a refund of 50% of the class fee is issued when cancelled 2 weeks or more before date of the workshop.

Materials are payable on day of class.
If you have any small items that you may want to incorporate in your project, bring it for the workshop.
